Heath House is a fully equipped accommodation suitable for up to 10 people.

Eagle – Twin room

This room as two single beds which can be transformed into a King-Sized bed (By PRIOR arrangement only.)

Swallow – Dormitory-style with 8 bunk beds, each with it’s own light and draw-back curtains for privacy, and storage facilities.

Communal Area

This area is surrounded with windows to stunning views of the Outeniqua mountains.  NO WiFi available

Dining table for 10, lounge seating with a cozy fireplace. Wood is available from reception.  (The first load is free)

Books, games and toys for children are available. Lockers for individual safekeeping of personal belongings.

Kitchen

Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and hot water from the instant gas geyser.

Bathroom facilities

Two showers with basins and two compost toilets with basins (one inside and one outside). A flush toilet at the Ash facility located above Heath House is available for use.

Hot water for showers is from a fire donkey water geyser located just outside the house. The donkey takes about 20 minutes to heat the water so its a good idea to plan a shower.

Verandahs

The stone-clad verandah faces the Kammanassie mountains to the north, and the wooden deck and adjacent stone-clad verandah face the Outeniqua mountains to the south.

Fire-pit

Our newly completed fire-pit can be enjoyed by all.  A cozy get-together under the star-lit sky.  The ULTIMATE peaceful and tranquil experience.
