Renewal Retreat is located on a 600 acre farm high up on the Kammanassie mountains in the Klein Karoo. Catered meals are plant-based. The self-catered accommodation at the cabins and camping area share a communal kitchen where all meals are to be prepared (no braai facilities available). There are no dietary restriction in the self-catering accommodation known as Heath or Pincushion where braai facilities are available. The mountain peaks are just to the north of the farm house, and we look out onto the splendid Langkloof valley and the Outeniqua mountains to the south. The landscape is mixed vegetation including proteas, other fynbos, a magnificent array of indigenous flowers and the native rhinosterbos. Fauna include buck, tortoises and seldom seen baboons.
